Steps 1 to 3 - Initial Setup

You can build a device from an out-of-the-box scenario for use in a Micronet environment. To do this:

1. Power up the unit.

Ensure that the PDA has the battery installed and charged. Upon powering on the unit, a series of applications will run and install after boot-up. This takes approximately 5-10 minutes.  Please wait patiently until all orange boxes have stopped popping up on the screen.

2. If the ITE program displays, it must be disabled.

• Click Exit.  Put in password cr52401 when prompted then click ok.
• Click START | SETTINGS.
• Select the System tab then select Intermec Settings.
• Expand out Expand Applications > ITE.
• Tick “NO Auto-start”.
• Click the Save button at the bottom of the screen
• Stay in Intermec Settings.

3. If required, setup RAMDISK.

• Download ftp\cn5012MegRamDisk\ITC_RamDrive.cab and install on the PDA.
