This method is used to obtain very accurate variance reports and is commonly used in conjunction with PDAs to ensure item identification integrity. Once you have entered your first stocktake count figures into Micronet, Micronet can create a new stocktake batch containing only those items where there is a discrepancy between the original quantity and the count quantity so that only those items need to be recounted.
This method is commonly used when large stocktakes cannot be undertaken in a single day using the methods above. PDAs are very useful for this method to ensure item identification integrity and they also greatly reduce data entry time.
