Removing Temporary Items from the Inventory Master File

If temporary items are set to be removed at End of Month, they are automatically removed from the Inventory master file when an End of Month is run in Micronet Distribution. Items are removed if they have had transactions, the stock on hand is zero and there are no pending transactions (i.e. purchase orders). These items will no longer be accessible from the Item Selection screen or inventory listings, although history can still be viewed.

Technical Tip

If a temporary item has been included on a job in MJC, it will never be deleted as MJC needs permanent access to the item details.
