Automatic Transfers

You use the Automatic Purchase Orders program in Micronet to create automatic transfers of stock between warehouses based on minimum and maximum stock levels.

Automatic Transfers Based on Simple Stock

Use this method where stock is to be replenished, e.g. from a warehouse to a mobile van or service vehicle, or from a distribution centre to one or more branches. All you need to do to process the transfer is to enter the supplier (e.g. the distribution centre) into the Automatic Purchasing program in Micronet and Micronet automatically calculates the stock to be transferred and creates the transfers for you.

Configuration - Auto Transfers Simple Stock

There are three steps involved in setting up automatic transfers based on simple stock:

1. Setup the minimum and maximum stock levels on the warehouse to be replenished.
2. Set the normal supplier code on each item to be replenished.
3. Create a special internal supplier for automatic transfers.
